This Privacy Policy explains how LINESERVE, INC. ("Lineserve") handles personal data in connection with our website and Services. For customers in Kenya, services are provided by Lineserve Limited, Utalii Lane, View Park Towers, Nairobi, Kenya. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
2. Data we collect
We collect data you provide and data generated through use of the Services:
- Account data: name, email, company, billing details.
- Usage and technical data: IP address, device/browser, log and diagnostic data.
- Content and metadata you store or process using the Services.

We use personal data to provide, secure, and improve the Services; to process payments; to provide support; to communicate about your account; to detect and prevent abuse and fraud; and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Roles (controller / processor)
For account, billing, and website data we act as a controller. For Customer Content you store or process using the Services, you are the controller and we act as a processor on your instructions, as described in our Data Processing terms.
5. Sharing
We share personal data with service providers that help us operate (e.g. payments, email, analytics, infrastructure) under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms, and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers and residency
We operate data centres in Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, and Lagos, and offer in-country data residency for eligible Services. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we use appropriate safeguards.
7. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Customer Content is retained per your configuration and deleted after account closure following a reasonable grace period.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including Kenya's Data Protection Act and the GDPR where relevant), you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to [email protected].
