Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do with Lineserve services.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") protects Lineserve, its customers, and the internet at large. It applies to everyone who uses the Services and is incorporated into the Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited activities

You must not use the Services to:

  • Violate any law or regulation, or infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk messaging, or operate open mail relays.
  • Distribute malware, run phishing, or conduct fraud.
  • Launch, participate in, or facilitate DoS/DDoS attacks, port scanning, or unauthorised access to systems.
  • Host or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or other illegal content.
  • Mine cryptocurrency in violation of a plan's terms, or otherwise abuse shared resources.

3. Network and resource use

You must not interfere with the proper functioning of the network, degrade service for others, or attempt to circumvent resource limits, billing, or security controls.

4. Reporting abuse

Report suspected violations, security issues, or abuse originating from our network to [email protected]. Security vulnerability reports may also be sent to [email protected] (see /.well-known/security.txt).

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate Services, with or without notice depending on severity and legal obligations. We may cooperate with law enforcement.
